Classical, Western and group dance – practice, performances and events.
A vibrant, joyful dance tradition dating back to around 200 BCE, usually performed at festivals and cultural events.
Dancers move in rhythm with the music, take on the role of the character in the song and connect emotionally with the story and the audience – in traditional costume, jewellery and make-up.
Students learn and perform Western dance routines on stage at campus events.
Choreographed group performances that build teamwork, coordination and stage confidence.
